Pros

Get a free ski pass and gives you the opportunity to make great connections in Teton Valley

Cons

The pay is horrible & the owner does not care for his employees; he only cares about his overall budget/profit. Benefits are horrible, you can get more affordable health care independently.

Pros

Grand Targhee is a great place to work and play! Throughout the years that I have worked here my supervisors have always been extremely supportive and done an amazing job of making sure I have the tools I need to be successful. You are able to learn about various aspects of the hospitality/resort industry. Employees receive great perks including a season pass, incentive opportunity and discounts to resort businesses as well as other businesses in the area. They also have some of the nicest employee housing units that I have ever seen!

Cons

Industry pay could increase. Communication could be improved.

A struggling resort with burned out management.

Pros

Ski privileges, wonderful area to live with a tight knit community if you have a steady job.

Cons

Lack of dept funding causes stressed out management. Human resources does not follow good business practices. Absence of work/life balance. Owner is unavailable and does not provide a positive and reassuring role model for staff. Staff feels like they're "working for the man."
