Pros

Working in the Tetons and beautiful scenery.

Cons

Housing sucks way to expensive lack of communication and effort on all parts of operating procedures and they only hire alcoholic 20 year olds

Thank you for your feedback. At Grand Targhee Resort we value the input of our current and former employees. As indicated by the response from our employee survey last year the vast majority of our employees have a great experience working with us and a positive view of the resort. There is an inherent "party culture" that exits in ski towns, the resort insures that this does not have an effect on our operations or affect employees while they are at work. The employee housing, we offer is in new condos provided at cost to our employees, they are priced well below market value for our area and other ski towns.

Location seemed to be a nice place to live.

Cons

I had problems even before working at this establishment. If you are going to hire people and not give clear instructions on the onboarding process. It will disorganized and nothing gets done. This place is not to be trusted I know people were out of the office but this is unacceptable. The people in employee housing kept giving me the runaround. They were profoundly vague with me every time I inquired. I declined the job before the season even started. I feel like I dodged a bullet.

Snow is great, food is horrible

Cons

An individual in Lift maintenance peed in a coworker's gatoraide and management did nothing about it. Management at Targhee is the worst. Great place to ski, bad place to work.
