Not the old Grange

Pros

The good people of Grange, while diminishing in numbers, is still one of the main reasons Grange is such a good place to work. It's unfortunate that many of those good people are leaving due to the changing culture or being asked to leave because they disagree with management.

Cons

Some trouble spots in the company due to a changing of the guard, but time will tell what comes of the place. Depending on your perspective the change could be a good thing in the long run, but so much so fast has really tested the morale and core strengths of the organization.

Pros

Free parking, on site fitness center, employees are nice people who care about each other. There are great opportunities here for people who are willing to put up with a lot of change, restructuring, continued strategic redirection, and the negativity that comes along with it. Wonderful philanthropic community presence. The building is gorgeous and it's in a great location. HR department is great. My manager is great. Great company values.

Cons

Working here you will go through constant change, resource and expense constraints, and senior leadership who don't consider the recent high turnover rate a problem. You're encouraged to talk to leadership or HR about your worries, but in my area people are afraid to. I don't know anyone in my department that's happy to be here, except new people who are getting promoted because of the high turnover. And a lot of them get jaded after a few months because of poor training and high workloads.

Pros

Beautiful building and environment, workout facility, onsite cafeteria and separate coffee cafe, great health plan and benefits

Cons

There is much arrogance among management staff. Un-exempt employees are considered clerical and not worthy of acknowledgement. Much is covered up by departmental management and there is reprimand and consequences if employees approach upper management or HR about the morale and imbalance of exempt vs. un-exempt treatment.
