Pros

- Amazing work-life balance. Company outwardly encourages time off, holidays, prioritizing family, and working to live rather than living to work. - Fair compensation. Industry-standard or slightly above in compensation, but nothing too crazy. - Company healthcare is very, very good. - Great upward mobility depending on department. A lot of promotions to middle management or senior associate roles are from within rather than from without. - Company culture that discourages micromanagement (depending on your department of course). Most jobs are a "as long as everything gets done and our customers are happy" sort of role where you won't be squeezed or worked to the bone. - Excellent culture of diversity equity and inclusion. Actually walks the walk and isn't just paying lip service when it comes to DEI.

Cons

- Will be requiring a return to 2 days in-office out of the 5-day work week for Central Ohio workers in 2024 and beyond. - Company leadership has made some unforced errors in the IT space with regard to staffing (hiring/layoffs) and project management (timeliness, product quality). - Over-reliance on and preferential treatment of sales teams even when they tend to be unhelpful with the actual work of the company.

Pros

Accessible, communicative senior leadership Competitive starting salaries & comparable benefits Understanding of work/life balance Good communication and teamwork within individual departments

Cons

Expensive benefits with very high deductibles and out of pocket expenses Limited opportunities for growth and/or advancement, particularly if you are not interested in managing others Extremely small, annual "merit" increases which do not keep pace with the annual increases in the cost of benefits (or with inflation/cost of living) Poor communication and collaboration between departments Insufficient contributions to the many work from home (remote) employees such as reimbursements for utilities, etc. Insufficient on boarding/training of new hires
