Pros

Some excellent staff, many with public sector experience Plenty of history of delivering and enabling impactful programmes Good office locations Work/life balance is supported for those staff who are achieving their goals New UK General Manager appears to have a clear and positive vision for their region CEO has an ambitious and aggressive expansion and growth vision which will do great things in the US

Cons

Total lack of product development and evolution Lack of acceptance that different markets in different territories and countries should be assessed and approached differently Rigid adherence to sales metrics which do not aid the sales process Lack of career progression opportunities nor awareness of the unused skills and experience employees may have Unsustainable growth targets Good, experienced staff are being forced out for a variety of reasons Lack of communication between countries Myriad byzantine processes to get things done which only slow down outcomes Products are priced far, far beyond the budgets of the prospects being sold to Little to no marketing support, with decisions made based on unknown evidence which contradicts the years of successful evidence that show certain approaches do work

UK Granicus: The Worst Employer in the UK for Graduates?

Pros

The customers are absolutely lovely.

Cons

I can only speak for the UK branch, but it is an awful place to work as a graduate or young employee. Granicus is not the place careers begin, it's the place they go to die. At around the time I joined there were between 8-12 people between 21-26, all hoping to get their career started in London in this exciting tech company. Almost all of them left the company to unemployment. They weren't let go, made redundant or fired, rather they chose to leave to avoid suffering another day under incompetant, old fashioned and disconnected leadership. The senior sales team are the worst offenders. Packed full of middle-aged men who openly laugh at the idea a woman could possibly compete with a man in a sales environment. Happily dropping misogynistic quotes or anecdotes. This company did everything they could to destroy whatever culture was left post-pandemic, removed all possible benefits that existed and generally wasted the time of every young employee there. It is impossible to progress, and asking for a raise is like wishing you went to hogwarts, its just not gonna happen. This company will suck the hope out of you and give you nothing in return. If you're interviewing here, run for the hills and if you've just started working there - it's not too late to quit.

Pros

Its a remote first company

Cons

1. Worst HR process: a. They call themselves a service company and India HR lead always treats it like a service company and compares to service companies b. The company is always willing to cut cost and not focus on wellbeing of the employee c. The comp policy are not very clear and HR head in India makes policies on the spot d. There is no proper process for Hikes if you are a top performer or a bad performer you get the same hikes(mostly until you twist some arms by threatening to leave) e. The only way of getting good hikes is to resign so that you get compensated for staying 2. Its a Vision less company a. The company does not have a CTO hence no uniformity in tech process. Everyone is running their own show b. The leadership is from small company hence no larger company outlook c. Everyone in leadership is waiting for the company to be sold so that they can get the stocks encased d. The CPO does not have a vision and gets influenced by anyone and takes autocratic decision e. They are just acquiring companies without a vision 3.Very Political a. The India is ready to take away all the good credit and transfer all the setback to individual employees b. I feel there is more politics and less work in the company c. Leadership never know the whole story jus believes in favoritism 4. The flood gates will open soon if they do not mend their ways, most of the people in the organization are searching for jobs
