Pros

With an ever-growing portfolio, there are opportunities for career paths and advancement. Granicus encourages overall mental health and promotes an environment for work-life balance. If you embrace a "woke" culture and your "privilege" crammed in your face during the company meetings, you will thrive here.

Cons

For a company providing services within the government sect, a neutral work environment is expected without taking a political stance. Unfortunately, this is not the case at Granicus. Granicus has shifted gears to embrace a one-sided culture and is not open to any opposing views. Pay is often below market value for similar roles and markets. Bonuses are not paid until 3 months into the following year requiring employees to remain with the company to receive previous years' performance merits. Granicus fully supports medical apartheid often encouraging virtue signaling in day-to-day communications.

Not a bad place to work but not awesome either

Pros

Good mid level management and flexibility

Cons

Company will pay way under market and you won't get a raise later. Company is dedicated to the cult of wokeness and CEO will constantly preach the word of wokeness as they pay everyone way under market no matter how hard the company crushes their goals. There is really no tolerance for anyone who does not think the same way as the hive. If you like fake woke corporate culture and endless virtue signaling this place will be a good fit.

Some unethical practices after the merger

Pros

I loved this company before it was merged with GovDelivery. I was treated well, it was a compassionate place to work that saw people as human beings and not as drones. The people who work in the Denver office are fantastic humans. That office is a lot of fun. Oh and great healthcare was a good perk.

Cons

After the merger with GovDelivery, a lot of interesting leadership decisions were made, and some people clashed and egos got in the way. The culture changed a great deal into one that was very impersonal and generally ...machine-like? I went from feeling like a valued member of a work family to a cog in a machine very quickly. It's also problematic that 2 companies merged and GovDelivery's HR team took over completely and have been pretty unfair to legacy Granicus employees on the whole. There's no HR personnel in the Denver office at all. No one to talk to if you have a problem.
