Pros

I started Granite just thinking this would be a job to get my feet settled and then transition to something that I was passionate about. I am now 3 years in and couldn't be happier. The ability to run through your deals from start to finish has been an incredible experience and has given me tons of knowledge over your typical sales role where you are just a meeting booker for your superior. The culture in the Atlanta office is incredible, I have made life long friendships here and the office has a true team feel. In just 3 years in I have tripled what I made in year 1 at the company. The commission structure at the job is very lucrative and gives you the opportunity to make life changing money at the beginning of your career. I couldn't be happier with my decision and unless something drastic changes, I will be at Granite for a long time.

Cons

The first year is tough just because of the long sale cycles and how commissions are paid out. If you are successful here, you should expect year 2 to be close to double what you make year 1.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience! We're thrilled to hear how your role has evolved over the past three years and that Granite has become more than just a stepping stone—it’s now a place where you're growing professionally and building meaningful relationships. It's especially rewarding to hear that the autonomy in managing your deals and the team culture in our Atlanta office have had such a positive impact on you. We know the first year can be challenging, and we truly appreciate the persistence and resilience it takes to build a strong foundation. Your success story is a great example of what’s possible here, and we’re proud to have you as part of the team. Thank you again for your kind words and for being such an important part of Granite. We’re excited to see what you accomplish next!

Pros

The occasional food truck is not worth the ample headaches that will drain any good employee. Ok for a recent grad looking for corporate experience, but can also say you’re likely wasting your team where better opportunities are available. Truly the only positive I can wholeheartedly endorse is the company’s donation efforts, but sadly this just highlights the CEO’s emphasis on his own image while underpaying loyal employees.

Cons

Outdated systems, management that will bury you in a moment’s notice if you’re not a favorite. Not being taken advantage of essentially means you’re labeled not a team player. Pay below comparable positions at other companies. Prepare to do the work of 2-3 people in most OPs positions, and don’t be surprised if they lay you off after giving your all. In addition to keeping employees in the dark, they also have no problem lying to customers and creating problematic rollouts. The company gets sued by many of their clients for their problematic practices, and certainly more to come. As you can see the last month is packed with fake reviews from the PR dept to boost the company’s poor image.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We’re genuinely sorry to hear that your time with the company didn’t meet expectations, and we take your feedback seriously. We acknowledge that every team member's experience is different, and while we strive to provide a supportive, transparent, and inclusive environment, it's clear we fell short in your case. Concerns about workload, compensation, and communication are not taken lightly. These are areas we are actively working to improve, including recent investments in technology upgrades and management training to better support our teams. We're proud of our charitable initiatives and community involvement, but we also recognize that internal culture and employee satisfaction are just as important. While we disagree with some of the characterizations in your review, especially regarding our integrity and treatment of clients, we respect your right to speak candidly about your experience. We’re committed to learning from feedback like yours and continuing to build a workplace that values and supports all employees—not just in words, but in action. If you’re open to a further conversation, we’d welcome the opportunity to hear more directly.
