Pros

Benefits, but are they really worth it against the cons?

Cons

This review is strictly for the branch in Medley Florida. I used to work in the warehouse for some time, and I finished off working in the wire room. The problem with this place is there is too much preference. And management is a joke. You have certain workers that can get away with errors/mistakes or what they call service failures, without any sort of punishment. While others get humiliated in public for having made an error. Also there seems to be no diversity in race when it comes to management and leads, they all seem to fall under one category.... Now there are certain workers that are just there to collect a paycheck, and management knows that. But they do nothing about it. Most some of these workers are connected in someway to management. That's why they get away making service failures, not having to work as hard as others, and come in to work late without any repercussions. And for some reasons these workers get a bigger paycheck then the ones that actually earn it. Management is horrible. They are rude, classless, and clueless. Instead of working they spend most of their day constantly texting, having personal phone conversations and/or on the Internet with things that have nothing to do with work. And then they wonder why we used to be so backed up. On top of that there is those occasional times where management and leads take extended lunches and leave the floor to untrained workers. And when something goes wrong the blame falls on them. Something needs to be done about this place. It can't be this unprofessional. When I was there my coworkers would complain more and more about this place daily. Many of these employees are unhappy and the ones that have been there for years and don't get the fair treatment and pay they deserve. I saw too much of this and said enough is enough and left.

Great Company, Terrible District and Local Management

Pros

Benefits are really good and the salaries are not not bad.

Cons

It's the old boys club with management. The lack of empathy for the employees is notable and creates a sense of complacency. Corporate vision is dismantled as it trickles down to each branch. Corporate management seems to be focused on reporting and so long as it looks good on paper they seem to be fine with they way things are going. The company has the tendency to react late to trends and forecasts and start hiring late in the game after the current employees are exhausted and the trend has passed. At the end of the year, they lay off to adjust to the numbers. This is terrible for morale...
