Do Not work here! The pay is the ONLY thing okay here, however, you will sacrifice your personal life for it! Want to work for a company that mandates you work 13 days in a row with 2 days off a month? You've found it! What about 12-hour shifts for 5 days straight? Or what about a company that provides paid holidays but never really gives you that time off? They just rearranged your weekend so you're still working 5/6 days that week. What about a company that reacts to everything instead of foreseeing problems and attempting to prevent them? Yup! Oh, you know that Sunday we mandated you to come in and work? We'll we ran out of boxes, opened cheese and powder for you to run Monday! This is by far the most dysfunctional company I have ever worked for. Corporate is located in Ohio and you see them once a year. They are so disconnected with what their employees need right now that our CEO recorded a video thanking us for all the hard work and that he's been able to spend more time with his granddaughter. Really?! You think the folks working 60-70 hours a week want to hear about all the time you get to spend at home? They've known about COVID for a while now, and just now start increasing the openings for entry-level positions. Doing so probably because they anticipate people leaving from all the forced over-time. They want us to recommend friends/family to work here? Uh no, so you can suck the life out of them too? People are tired and we have such a disorganized group of people "managing things" that we might as well be talking to walls. At least I wouldn't hear insincere gratitude for wasting away at this hole. I've made it a personal mission to help as many people not make the mistake of working here. Start your career somewhere else. There are other cheese plants that offer more balance, are better managed and truly care about their employees.
