Pros

Wonderful employer to work for. They are large enough to be well established and respected in the industry, yet small enough that senior management often knows entry level employees by name. During company training events, employees generally introduce themselves and give a quick overview of their position and how long they’ve been employed by GLMC. It always amazes me how many long term employees are within the organization, this is a true testament that Great Lakes is doing something right!

Exciting changes within HR and increased involvement with senior management have taken place over the last year.

This company is one of the best I've had the opportunity to work for. The company itself is growing and advancement opportunities are present. Owners along with management personnel assure that all employees feel that they are part of the team and important. Managers within the company are strong mentors and company practices and decisions are derived by transparent information and teamwork and not by individual decision making and directives. It's truly a great place to work!

I have been working for Great Lakes for almost 10 years. This is a great and positive company to work for. They help you to succeed in your work by supplying you with all the necessary tools to succeed. Great co-workers to work with. Always provide new challenges for growth in the company. A great stepping stone to learn and to be part of the care for our elderly in the community.
