GRE is a great company to work for ... since it has such a flat structure, there are less opportunities to move up.

Pros

Great salary, great benefits, good co-workers, and a fairly progressive utility. Great job security and good work-life balance.

Cons

It's a pretty flat organization, so advancing beyond mid-level career opportunities is difficult with very few openings.

Amazing benefits (health, retirement, time off, tuition reimbursement); many opportunities to for personal development and job training; people are great; very supportive of work/life balance.

Cons

Little room for growth or movement (i.e. promotion), commute can be tiresome, management needs improvement (favoritism is an issue);and GRE often push programs that are not a priority to employees but check a box for the company or management.
