Pros

None. Over worked and under paid. Couldn't even get me full time hours for my full time job.

Cons

Everything. Rude management and employees. Employees would "disappear" for hours at a time leaving only myself to clear an entire restaurants worth of tables. I was lied to throughout the entire hiring process, told again and again this would be a full time position with full time pay, I barely got 3 days of work last week. Not to mention I was told I'd be able to work during my preferred hours over and over again, only to be slapped in the face on my orientation and told the only hours I'd would be 5 to 11....2 hours short of a FULL TIME SHIFT. Employees would actively bad mouth you 15 feet away and management would laugh! Absolutely abysmal, I pray for the person that replaces me.

Pros

Fun, family oriented workplace. GM of Lodge is awesome, perfect person for the job.

Cons

F & B leadership are misogynistic, ageists, micro- managing narcissists. Toxic environment, inconsistent messages, lack of communication, overall worst leadership team I have ever worked with.

Pros

Very different day to day. Lots of different departments to learn from. Very nice people just horrible upper management.

Cons

I was offered a sous chef position by the company and went through multiple interviews, chef exams, and menu tasting. All went really well and I was wanted in the position until upper management threw me a 360 and said corporate re evaluated their standards and wanted someone with 15 years minimum experience… They apologized to me for not being able to follow through with what they offered me. I stayed in hopes of a promotion to a manager position but they said I wasn’t ready for it despite doing almost all of the job requirements and not being paid for it. I went to school for F&B got my B.A. at Kendall one of the top Hospitality Schools in the country and have been in this industry for 9 years but nope still not good enough for them. Was also told I needed to delegate and not jump in and help my employees as much which is ridiculous considering 70% of my time there I was filling in for staff that was not there versus true supervision. In my almost year there I never had one sit down review, meeting, critique, or even training.
