Pros

Water park passes and discounts

Cons

Management and HR do not care about anything. Housekeeping is a third party company as well as janitorial for night shift. Neither one care. Employees are always leaving late because others come in late. You only get paid for what you were scheduled for. Guests are rude Refuse to work around your schedule. Supervisors show extreme favoritism. Sexual harassment claims get brushed off like they never happened. No secrets. Employees may seem like your friends but they're just waiting to screw you over. Uniform shirts suck. A/c sucks. It's always hot

Pros

Co-workers are great, they all realize how bad the place is but you all try to make the best of it

Cons

Lots of drama kings and queens in upper management, some are insane micromanagers to the point you wonder why your job even exists

Pros

Money is very good when it's busy.

Cons

Management for most of hotel is horrible. No communication between departments or to employees. Computer system is confusing and flawed. New employees are trained by other new employees so they aren't trained right. No communication even in the food and beverage department. Just schedules rare meeting reminders, and the occasional DON'T DO THIS ANYMORE email. Very rare the promote from within. Managers aren't home grown anymore and new ones come in without a clue. Lost the best manager the Mason location ever had because they hired outside the company. Not enough supervisors or managers in each outlet. Some are incompetent. No full time hours are available. No recognition of a job well done. But nasty emails from management to personal email accounts when someone complains. (Which is not professional in any way what so ever) it really shows the disconnect within the department. No loyalty to long time employees. I can go on. Bottom line this place used to be an enjoyable place to work. Best back to that.
