Transporting clients with no idea who they are, high risk

- pay first and foremost. Once you are out of that entry level timeframe and you complete a masters degree, GCB is not the place for you in regards to pay. You can have the same experience/degree and make significantly more money elsewhere. I understand the company is non-profit but, you must show value to your staff and what they bring to the table. - PTO and productivity…. Having to make up productivity from the days you are off work is absolutely ridiculous and just increases the chance of staff burnout which in turn increases staff turnover - communication from upper leadership. They would wait last minute to make decisions regarding weather - despite high level snow emergencies. When the agency experienced a cyber attack, there was very little communication. - accepting mediocre work from some staff just to make sure that there is a warm body in a position. This results in poor client care and some resentment between staff when it is seen the bare minimum being accepted - safety, clients do not have to do any type of safety measure before entering the building. Some clients have pretty extensive criminal history and having no type of safety measure before entering such as metal detectors just overall can be risky. - background checks/drug screening of staff.. it is pretty alarming that staff are expecting to drive clients around and provide direct mental health care but, no drug screening takes place during the hiring. There have been a worrisome number of staff fired due to drug use concerns.
