Pros

Education and Training, uniform pay and benefits

Cons

Good luck getting a supportive and honest Regional. This company is all about who you know and politics. If you are seeking a company that will listen to your ideas, opinions and concerns then this is not the place for you. The regionals will make or break your property. I f they do anything wrong they will blame their teams to make themselves look good infant of their clients. Instead of wanting to see your team grow and overcoming your own insecurities as a leader you should want to see your team flourish especially when they work hard for you. In the event a leader messes up take accoutnability for your actions and move forward. Don't blame someone else for your mistakes. No one is perfect but it takes courage and honesty to be true to yourself. Greystar should really look into their regionals and truly see how they are representing the company. A true leader supports their team.

Pros

Big company, good software- lots of properties.

Cons

Too many properties for regional who get spread too thin. Pay doesn't reflect the size of the portfolio. Equal pay issues. Constant turnover in Regional and Manager positions. People don't seem to be the priority for leaders.

Pros

Good benefits. Large company, room for growth. Nationwide, and in other countries, offers the opportunity to move if an option. Pay is good at the right property. Lots of on-site classes and training. Interactions with other peers at company meetings.

Cons

Transferring of Regional Managers- especially when they don't like you and make it a point to hate you. Discrimination in the work place by superiors. No flexibility when it comes to making on-site decisions, everything has to go through corporate. Audits sporadic and inconsistent. Too many policies to keep track of. Poor support system. Accountants are always changing and don't understand accounting procedures, especially if you are on Onesite and not Yardi. Good luck! Sometimes it's too big and it's easy to be overlooked.
