Pros

Benefits such as health insurance , 401k match, paid time off, Holidays off with pay, those benefits are excellent if you can stand your job and stick it out.

Cons

Wow! Should have read the reviews on here before accepting employment. Some are spot on: training is so unorganized and one gets thrown right in and then reprimanded and corrected as if the work was supposed to be known, low pay with incentives per lease but lack of time to sell due to short handedness and doing a million other tasks, cliquey, watch your step, and if you read reviews and you wouldn't desire to live at that community chances are working there will be worse. With private owners granting limited budgets everyone ( residents , employees ) suffers. You have to pay money to make money in business. If a leasing professional is touring with potential future residents and the community has dirty walkways, broken advertised secure gates, and disgruntled residents talking about issues in front of a future resident, it means there are not enough employees to get the community where it should be. Too much work for each employee.

Pros

Option of free health care - however I have yet to use it.

Cons

I have never encountered a group of immature, unprofessional individuals such as those at Greystar. Catty, gossipy and disrespectful. My manager has no business being in the position where she is. Our residents despise her, and so does her team. Our door has been revolving for residents and staff alike under her management. Leasing professionals not getting their commission seems to be a common occurrence. Very shady business practices. I will be seeking employment elsewhere, and this is by far the worst company I have been with, and ethically cannot continue alongside it.

Pros

Plenty of room for career growth. The company focuses on promoting within. Everybody has an opportunity to give input no matter what your job title is. Great benefits. Additional week of vacation after 3 yrs instead of 5 like every other company I've worked for. Benefits cost reduces after 3 yrs and are eliminated after 5yrs. Company is growing growing growing!

Cons

Everyone could use more money ;) But you have to ask for it in your interviews! Don't just take what's offered if it's not satisfactory to you or you have nobody to blame but yourself.
