Pros

The benefits package is fairly extensive and one of the better in the industry. Time off structure used to be one of the better in the industry.

Cons

This company does not care about you as a person. You are a number, and you are easily replaceable. If you can't drink enough or party enough, or you're not young enough or don't have "the look," forget about getting ahead. Favoritism is rampant. Mental health concerns are ignored. If the employee must act upon the mental health concerns and take medical leave, there will be repercussions upon return - if not from your immediate supervisor, upper-level management will make sure of it. Work-life balance doesn't exist, even at the leasing agent level. You will be squeezing the toxicity out of your life for years after leaving this place.

Pros

Generous benefit package, lots of PTO, vacation and corporate holidays available, challenging work

Cons

The outsourcing of accounting tasks to India creates more work instead of alleviating work, decrease in employees and increased property count for my team members is creating stress and lack of excellence in tasks. Because of the increased work load wheb someone does take vacation there is no capacity for team members to absorb extra work or provide support. Operations teams are inadequate due to lack of training which leads to my team constantly having to clean up messes. PMAS are created and signed with unreasonable conditions on accounting and we have no say in the process. Transitions from one team to another or from other management companies are inefficient, time consuming and unorganized. Typically working 45-50 hours a week and can't take time off. Sabbaticals are a great benefit but coverage for while people are out is hard to find.

Cons

-Apartments are still expensive with discounts. -Management talks down to you -one manager told me "what ever you have to say say it to my face" -I had family who died because of covid and management kept asking well when are you coming back to work...after only ONE DAY OF CALLING OUT. -the stress level, pay and hours do not ad up at all.
