Pros

Greystar had many amazing benefits like free healthcare, housing discounts, phone allowance, etc.

Cons

In my region it seems to be a politics game and it’s who you know not about your work. When concerns get brought up they are dismissed and ignored all together if the person is favored by upper management regardless of how many complaints there may be. It can be extremely hard to promote, although they may speak a ton about developing talent, in my experience it’s all a lie. You develop yourself and have little to no guidance from leaders. A lot of upper management seems to be out of touch with their teams.

Pros

Benefits are better than average.

Cons

Outsourcing to India creates more work than it's supposed to save plus you get to do extra work because of all the time upper management seems to think we are saving by having India screw things up....uh, I mean help.

Pros

Rent discounts and amazing medical are the only great benefits. Other companies now have a lot of the same benefits so don’t waste your time with Greystar!

Cons

Cult like corporate. Terrible and RUDE regionals. Never show their faces. Have nothing but negativity to spread. Too many cliques and favoritism. You could literally cause a hostile work environment and have residents complain about you everday and have people quit every month but still be a favorite community manager. This is greystar wide in DFW. You have to hangout with your regionals and managers outside of work to get anywhere in this company. You have to do special favors for them as well to be liked. RUN DONT WALK AWAY, before you know it, you will want to file lawsuits against Greystar because of their predatory practices.
