Pros

Good health benefits Team Incentives (sometimes monetary)

Cons

Micromanagement. Zero work life balance - good luck only working your required 8 hours! And expect management to require you to leave early or come in late if you are over your 40 hours as to not allow you to have overtime. This was a weekly occurrence. Extremely high expectations of performance with no encouragement, support or help from management Daily verbal abuse from residents; be prepared to get yelled at and called all types of names; but not to worry you just “can’t take it personally” Expected to cook, clean, and plan events for 100+ people with little to no help; with no food safety certification Vacation - good luck actually getting your manager’s approval to take your vacation time, your day off for your birthday, or a sick day when you are sick. Sleazy and unethical business practices by the manager; employees made to “look the other way” — be ready to be uncomfortable

Pros

just good benefits, but soon the 40% is changing. the time off and personal time off.

Cons

They give you all these benefits, but you can't take them all. They preach work-life balance, but they expect you to show up to work everyday with no time off and it's hard to take vacation. Senior managers are always only reaching out for bad reviews. They do not motivate you at all. They don't let you grow. No diversity. No increase in pay to those loyal employees. They required you to train new CMs, and they required you to run a property with no staff and no backup plan. As a new employee, they just throw you in, with no training or onboarding a new employee mentor. They required you to work long hours. All they want is their reports and deadlines. They preach the pillars and values and they do not act on it. Regionals come and visit the property and they make you feel small. You refer a good candidate to Greystar and they do not pay you for the referral. The list goes on and on everything is politics in the Orlando, FL region. There is no room to grow! Managers do not give you any positive feedback. Everything is numbers! Yes, Greystar is a top company and the biggest, but they don't treat you like humans. Regionals and Directors are forced to smile and wave when they come to do site visits. It is not genuine.
