Horrible Upper Management

Recommend

Business Outlook

Pros

Benefits, days off, sick days, SOME properties have great work life balance

Cons

Non owned Greystar properties are a mess. They do not follow any of the contracts that Greystar has in place. Upper management is HORRIBLE! Very cliquey and will do anything to protect their bad behavior. Do not follow SOP’s. Only enforce the rules when the rules benefit them. Greystar employees need to Unionize and protect themselves. There’s a horrible pay gap from property to property for the exact same jobs and they reprimand you if you discuss this with any other staff member (highly illegal!!!). Avoid this company not even worth the head ache. God forbid you’re at a property that sells, they will wait until last minute to place you and put you at a horrible property completely out of your way with worse pay.

Micromanagers!

Pros

It’s a large company and there are many properties that you can be transferred to through out the states. They have great benefits and PTO.

Cons

There is no work life balance and it’s a toxic work environment. Management has unrealistic expectations on what can be done in day. They expect you to complete all duties when all day you spend leasing with most days not taking breaks. They want you to come in early or stay in late to complete task that must be done but won’t want to pay overtime. I witness OT being taken away or shorten per the regional because they shouldn’t have worked that late or time wasn’t approved when they had previously been told you couldn’t leave until task were completed.

Pros

Benefits, Discount, time off, personal days birthday pay 3 wks vacation starting

Cons

Upper management(Regionals) and Owners treat leasing professionals like crap. Will walk into a room and don't speak like you are not the face of the property. Treat people how you want to be treated.
