Pros

Some good people in middle and lower levels Free Lunch There is a good company in here. Somewhere.

Cons

Been working here for almost two years and company is trending in all the wrong directions. There have been several reviews on Glassdoor explicitly calling out executives and their background and practices. They were hired despite their history which explicitly goes against the company's stated values. I will not detail again as these reviews seem to have been removed when too explicit but would encourage anyone thinking of coming here to do their homework as the executive team is determined to get this company over the finish line and get their payouts no matter what - and this is reflected in the company and how it is being run. There is a general malaise that has set in in this company and it is not good an many of my co-workers including myself are looking for new jobs. All the good people are leaving or thinking of it especially if vested. Sales team - they are not bad but product being sold is too complex with too many options. This is reflected throughout the company as campaigns are overly complex which slows things down. There has been a lot of turnover in Sales leadership and that is the cause as many Sellers are going their own way - for both good and bad. Founder and CEO was removed/ "being investigated". He had fashioned himself the keeper of the values of the company...didn't turn out that way.

Thank you for taking the time to share your opinions and write this review. I am sorry to hear that you are having such a negative experience at GroundTruth causing you to consider a job change. If you decide to leave I wish you the best of luck in your new role and in finding a work environment you will feel more comfortable in. As someone who has been with the company for 6+ years I can say that the company has seen its fair share of up and downs --- but not unusual for a fast growing start-up. Regardless, we are taking your feedback and will try to address those areas we missed in delivering an environment were you can have full faith and trust in your leadership team to make it through the good times --- and the bad. Through our monthly all hands meetings, anonymous Q&A process and open door policy I hope we are able to catch these issues a lot faster in the future. In regards to your comments on the executive team - there is no doubt that we have been through a strong growth curve combined with the fact that we are in a fast moving, dynamic marketplace that put stress on the organization. However, I am confident we will make it through these times stronger than ever. Thank you again for sharing your feedback so that I and others in the leadership team can reflect and consider what more we can do to make this the best work environment for all employees. If you would like to share more about your experiences - including what you think we can do to further improve, please email me directly at monica.ho@groundtruth.com or reach out to another executive or our People Operations (HR) Team.

Pros

Nothing. Free cheap lunch. Nice view. You can leave early because its going downhill. A private bathroom.

Cons

Do you want to be overworked? Do you enjoy being underpaid for the industry standard? Do you like catty managers who pick favorites? Do you enjoy layoffs and no promise of getting promoted? Do you enjoy mandatory 9am Monday morning meetings with the promise of a bagel? Ruin your life and join the team!
