Pros

The leadership team is very supportive and seem dedicated to making Guardian a great place to work Good pay and benefits An opportunity to make a difference in people's lives

Cons

The company recently went through a lot of change: new ownership, new leadership, new policies, etc. While the changes made have all been positive, it's still challenging to deal with so much change at once.

Pros

Fun job and rewarding career

Cons

If you want to work for a company that treats you like absolute crap, allows abusive behavior and despicable clinical skills to slide by un-addressed, this is the place. Management lies to your face, double crosses employees, changes wages and ignores EEOC laws. They’re all about money and investors and could care less about your skills as a provider. No training. They throw you into planes that are old and poorly maintained and you get no clinical training such as intubation in an OR or critical care rotations. Worst company I’ve ever worked for. Benefits are wretched

Future ahead is concerning

Pros

You get paid to help people in their time of need, and the pay isn't bad.

Cons

When fully staffed they run things a lot thinner than at non profit medical programs but it usually isn't too bad. Lately they have been having trouble retaining employee's because they have refused to raise wages as competing companies have. As a result the current employees have been getting run a lot harder than they would be normally and are more people are starting to look at leaving. Hopefully it isn't the start of a vicious cycle. When employees sign on they are forced to sign non-compete contracts which previously have been laughed off because we don't do jobs related to proprietary information. However, management is getting desperate to keep people and threatening to take people to court when they leave. How would you like to work at a place where you feel trapped? Take great care before signing up here.
