Pros

Benefits are good. Work/Life balance is respected. Easy commute from most places. Pleasant enough atmosphere, but a little clickish in some departments.

Cons

Promotions are hard to come by. People tend to stay to themself, and if you are not in with the right group of people you will not get ahead.

Pros

Stability. Guardian has been in business for a very long time and I believe current management team has the same vision as before - stability comes first. If you are looking for a company to work until you retire - then this is it

Cons

Resources are somewhat limited - again not a growth company. Lot's of outsourcing - whether it makes sense or creates problems.
