Pros

Hiring process is very detailed. Once you get with a "mentor of your peers" they are friendly and easy to get along with.

Cons

Management refuses to learn anything or try to help. Demeaning, demanding, no trust of staff, incompetent, no positive feedabck to staff on jobs well done. Very inappropriate behavior that is visible to not only to immediate staff but to other areas of department as well.

Pros

Safe company insurance company. Changes only occur when there is new leadership. Its a job - some groups are better than others.

Cons

Frown upon creativity and new ideas. Its a "do as your told" and "stay in your lane" organization. Compenation below the VP level is horrible and there is no bonus structure below the VP level.
