Pros

The culture at Guidebook is amazing! The company is still young and learning but it is growing very fast! So it is awesome to be part of that process. People seem to really care about their work at all levels. There is so much ambition, talent, and brains in the company. I work for a less structured team so there is a lot of ideas and collaboration. There’s also transparency in what the goals for the company are, and what decisions are being taken to reach those goals.

Cons

I tried to write a response to this, but I haven't really encountered any as of yet! Sometimes the stresses can feel more overwhelming, but it is a thing that you could face in any job.

Pros

I'm fortunate to be on the tech side and have a lot of opportunities. I focused my search on a company with traction in the market, but also with a great team of people to work with. I am happy to say I found both at Guidebook. The business is going very well. We are hiring like crazy, and it seems like we have a new sales person, account manager or customer success associate starting every week. I am on the Engineering team and they welcomed me with open arms. I got right into technical details and most new people on the team are committing code their first day!

Cons

We have an office in Palo Alto and in San Francisco. It can be confusing to know who will be in an office on a given day. There are plans to get a new office in SF this year and consolidate everybody. That should fix this issue.

Pros

The atmosphere here is electric. Passionate people who are always eager to help out their coworkers. As a new employee, I have felt very welcome and feel as though I am getting up to speed very quickly.

Cons

I honestly haven't seen any cons so far. It's a start up so their are bound to be some hiccups, but I think this team is well equipped to deal.
