Pros
Guidewire is a company full of smart and easy going people.I have been in the company for close to four years, and I can say I am truly happy here. My own team is always focused on doing better than the year before, which makes it a group I like to work with. Great work environment and work life balance. I am not an engineer, but I work closely with them, and I can say most of them enjoy their teams and the people they work with. Thirsty Thursdays (Guidewire social hour) is fun since you get to speak with people you normally wouldn't have a chance to speak with on a day to day basis.
Cons
Guidewire is experiencing some growing pains, which is expected. I also feel that not all departments are created equal. Also some departments do not follow some of the core values Guidewire believes in.
