Pros

Guidewire abides by their core values of rationality, Integrity and Rationality. If you have something to say, you will be heard. Compensation is very competitive and fair. The Merit-based promotion/raise/bonuses make for good incentives. Guidewire will work with you to give you the education you need in their products to make you successful. Fun office environment in Exton and Dublin Offices, lots of fun social activities. Everyone is treated with respect, and there is no "ladder-climbing" mentality.

Cons

Could use some more free/collaborative space and updated areas for break-outs/collaboration, but can't complain that much :-)

Pros

Working some where is not always about money. I have been offered a lot more, but it really is about loyalty and the intangibles. Guidewire gets hit for salary, but has decent money and amazing intangibles, if you do it right. I can make do with my salary and stock still knowing I can take time off when I need it...without question. Insurance...covered. Flexibility...covered.

Cons

The more you know...so being new you have to work your tail off to make a dent. BUT, you can if you try.
