Pros

Rapid expansion in the last few years.

Cons

Operations staff has the highest turnover ratio in the last 15 months due to poor management. If you are not the manager 's favorite you will not last even if you are a good employee. If you are one of thr favor ones then your life at work will be easy. A complete sweat shop with low to average pay.

Pros

The staff left from RMS is still good

Cons

RMS management was fantastic but as soon as we merged with Guild those same people quickly became over worked and stressed. They went from helpful and supportive to unavailable and difficult to work with. RMS cared more about employees and showed their appreciation. Guild clearly doesn't. After laying off as many employees as possible they cut everyone's hours. Are we slow? Sure. But they should be able to afford to keep the leftover skeleton crew through the slow season. Everyone is struggling and it shows in their work. But it's worse than that. They announced they were cutting our hours and acted like we should all be grateful to them for not laying us off too. The way they spoke to us was ridiculous. One week after cutting our hours they sent out an email to remind us that we had the opportunity to take a pay cut that would go towards their charity fund that would go to families who needed a little help closing a deal. Think about how absurd that is. They CUT OUR PAY when we already aren't making enough to afford a home ourselves and then came looking for more money from us that would go STRAIGHT BACK TO THEIR OWN POCKETS. You knows that fund will only go to guild clients so they can close loans that otherwise wouldn't qualify or close which means the money would go right back to them. How disgusting and tone deaf is that?? RMS used to send us gifts multiple times a year and ALWAYS at Christmas. This year? Nothing. I don't care so much about the gifts but it certainly feels like one more slap in the face and shows how little they value us. Then the year ended and, without telling us this would change, they cleared our vacation from last year. It always used to carry over but instead we lost everything we had earned. EARNED. Had we known we would lose those days I would have made sure to use them. Everyone hates their systems, they're terrible and clunky and don't work well together at all. I finally found a great company to work for and they sold out. It's such a shame because RMS was a great company that appreciated us. Guild has been terrible. OH and they keep making a huge deal about messy buns on video calls and insisting that everyone have their camera on when there is no need in most cases. It just seems so trivial for positions that aren't customer facing and on calls that are so huge it doesn't matter if we can see everyone. Their priorities are out of line. I also recall watching their conference and the old man they kept putting on (can't even remember who he is but he's way high up in the company) kept making jokes that were definitely inappropriate.

Pros

Great people, helpful and friendly

Cons

Lack to uphold company processes, lack of consistency but ample favoritism. Like most companies they want thier employees to be committed to them unfortunately I did not seem the same commitment from the company to thier employees in return.
