Pros

Benefits were good & the hours

Cons

It was a pretty chill place to work at but, a lot of passive aggressiveness!! Lots of micromanaging It was like high school all over again, so much gossiping Management did not care about you or your personal life Management also chose favorites There were times where if we never finished certain things, would have to come in on the weekends No room for growth

Pros

RUN!! LITERALLY RUN! So many things I wish I could type in my word allowance, but a few; HORRIBLE management, HORRIBLE rates- and they have all their own systems customized so they can capture all your leads. You cannot even access Gmail or print info on your personal clients apps because they are soooo controlling! They change commissions, make extremely cruel work cuts, and demand crazy performance without ANY support. I’ve been in this industry a long time and I would HIGHLY recommend checking out Fairway or VIP Mortgage. You may be better off working for Loan Depot than Guild! Hope this helps prevent someone from making the same mistake I made…

Cons

Pros

Training, benefits, overtime, remote work

Cons

For the most part, I do not have any teal cons, but just a couple thingsi personally wasnt happy with. 1) i do feel my layoff was age related as well as salary related. I gave them 10-13 hour days for 2 1/2 yeats amd trained someone half my age to do my job. I didmy job well and had good working relationships with everyone. Was told i had nothing to worry about and then ended up being laid off while they kept the much younger person i trained. Super disappointing. 2) the fact that you have to go thru so many other people to get stuff done or request something and then wait...when it's something you could have easily done yourself if you had "permission" or "access" was a bit frustrating. But overall, a great company.
