Pros

Guild offers competitive benefits and wages. They provide an important and necessary service to the community.

Cons

The difficult realization was that the values that are outwardly expressed in their mission that attracted me to the organization in the first place are not upheld when it comes to the treatment of their own employees.

Pros

Experience and professional growth. PTO is good if you stay over 2 years. Pay can be competitive depending on position.

Cons

I had high hopes when joining Guild and unfortunately, they were not met. Guild's culture is toxic, staff wellbeing is glossed over,  leadership makes decisions based upon their wants and not staff/client feedback, and the turnover rate is incredibly high. I wouldn't recommend Guild to BIPOC until they figure out their IDE plan. ~85-90% of the leadership team and board members are white along with all program managers. Hiring has remained one-dimensional under the guise of "not enough applicants."
