Pros

Time off benefits are decent

Cons

Pay is not competitive. Upper management does not listen to their employees. Management cares more about making a profit than making sure their employees are happy

Pros

Private medical insurance, Free decent tea/coffee (when they management want to pay for it)

Cons

Lots of false promises Very Americanised culture (Aka be grateful you have a job, don't complain, do as you're told now and treated like utter dirt) Free milk for tea/coffee often get's axed, blamed on the shop floor for using it in their cereals when it's actually the office staff having loads of drinks Management heavy, MD for Farnborough doesn't even know why it's called the "shop floor" despite being an engineer for 20 years! HR are about as useful as a chocolate teapot, can't do anything properly Lots of clicky groups, backstabbers and people on power trips! Lots of nonsense about clocking in/out, when you can go home, work is sporadic either too busy or not enough so you're standing around for 12 hours straight.
