You’re only hired on as a contract worker at first they promise you in the interview after 90 days, you’ll be hired on for direct hire. After being there for almost 70 days, I spoke to my direct manager they stated that’s not going to happen, maybe after a year or so. I just had a great one on one stating I was doing amazing. The recruiting department is a complete and utter mess. General dynamics owns GS so every thing that needs to be changed has to go through the company and it takes months even years to get anything approved. Just fyi it’s not real recruiting when you all you’re doing is pushing paper. One recruiter handles over 100 reqs it’s gross.

In respect to Appleton do not expect to get into management because you are qualified and experienced. the requirements are almost always waved in favor of friends and family. it's really really bad that way. apparently it's better than it was... Personally, I have never scene a company so dedicated to the family friends system as this one.
