Pros

Remote work which is helpful for sanity, a few good managers within the company that care about feeling drained from being overworked.

Cons

They advertise unlimited PTO but it is capped and has been for close to 2 years. They ask for feedback then try to change your mind instead of just listen and hear you out. No such thing as career development or raises. Everyone is overworked without being compensated for the backlog the company has gotten themselves into. Not transparent Management doesn’t communicate major changes to the team

Gusto really cares about its people. It’s rare to find a company like this. I am valued, heard and able to contribute. The people I work with are truly brilliant and cool.

Cons

It’s a fast moving late-stage startup. Things quickly change and it’s something to get used to.
