Young employees have frat + sorority vibes. If you're up for that this is the right place for you.

Cons

- Doesn't practice what they preach (aka doesn't care about their employees) - Gaslighting from management - Training is minimal - Burnout is real - HR is never on your side - Pretends to be different from "other tech companies" but they embody all the typical toxic traits of the tech company. But they NEVER acknowledge it!!! Never!! Cuz they're the "good guys" 🙄!! - Don't buy into Gusto's branding. They make it sound like some sort of utopia. Don't! Fall! For it!!

The salary increases are attainable in a short time period Great knowledge gained in payroll and benefits

Cons

Management is not addressing understaffing issues, as it has not yet caused a profit loss. Employees are being undervalued, promotions are withheld and dangled for months in front of tenured employees. The job itself is grueling and emotionally taxing, and management is not making the job itself better. Times are changing, employees are incredibly unhappy with the staffing issue and overworked.
