Pros

Fun coworkers, competitive pay, discount

Cons

don't practice their own company values, favoritism is rampant board-line discriminatory, favoring persons of European descent. Retention is poor and internal promotion is rare. Absolutely no communication at the store or district level. No focus on service or people development.

Pros

There are many people here that are great to be around and keep the environment cool. Not a stressful workload at all and very lowkey as far as the dress code....thats all i got.

Cons

You have to deal with favortism from mgmt. Alo of people here are young so it can feel like your at high school. micro managing is a bit overwhelming to the point where you have supervisors literally hovering over you and you are assisnged specific seating. Overall if you want to be treated like you're 12, work here. No one here is ever straightforward and people are given jobs that they are in no way ready for. if you have any problems keep them to yourself as they are never addressed properly but simply brushed under the rug. especially if you have an issue with a "favored" employee. then nothing will ever be done about it. very unfortunate.

Pros

H&M has a great employee discount. If you show some initiative, they might promote you, but who knows how long that will take. No real dress code. Decent starting pay.

Cons

Favoritism on the part of management (i.e. some employees are given more time to work on marketing their departments than others). Managers will throw you under the bus if they didn't give you enough time to get your department ready before a district team walk through.
