Pros

Hybrid schedule (3 days in office), free lunch

Cons

Very cliquey, very very little diversity in engineering, apparently removing bad reviews since this is the second time I’ve had to post.

I'm sorry to hear this has been your experience. We take the feedback seriously, and inclusion within the EPD org is something we're working on. We don't remove negative reviews on Glassdoor so we'll report that as a bug to the Glassdoor team - thanks for taking the time to leave the feedback. - Katie

High autonomy, high expectations — and leadership that actually delivers

Pros

Harvey moves at a pace unlike anywhere I've worked. Expectations are high, velocity is relentless, and there's no coasting — but that's what makes it energizing. Everyone around you is operating at full speed, which pushes you to do your best work. What stands out most is the ownership model. You're not handed a narrow scope — you're trusted to own real problems from day one. That autonomy is rare. Leadership is refreshingly honest about the demands of the pace. They don't sugarcoat it, but they also don't just talk about improvements — they act on them. When employees raise concerns, you see actual changes, not promises deferred to next quarter. If you want a place to build fast, take ownership, and work alongside genuinely motivated people, Harvey is it. Just know what you're signing up for — this isn't a slow-paced environment, and that's by design.

Cons

Celebrations and wins can get lost in the pace — the team moves so fast that it's easy to skip acknowledging milestones before jumping to the next thing. Teams are lean, but this feels more like a byproduct of rapid growth than a structural choice; headcount is coming, just not fast enough to keep up with the pace yet. Professional development is a grey area. There are conversations happening and improvements on the horizon, but right now there isn't a clearly defined path or program to point to. On compensation: base pay is competitive, but merit increases tend to be incremental outside of promotions. Equity refresh grants are tied to performance ratings, and the criteria behind how those ratings translate into grants isn't fully transparent — which can make it hard to know what to aim for.
