Pros

The benefits included being reimbursed for utilities such as internet costs at home, cell phone monthly payments, advanced paychecks for dire circumstances, the appearance of a functioning employee-focused community and employer.

Cons

If you are a woman working in IT you will be discriminated against, harassed, have your job threatened for reporting issues or violations, and even looked over for job advancement or opportunities if it meant more money for the bottom line or keeping the client you are working under happy. at the expense of actual legality in most instances. Under paid compared to my coworker who had the same job title as me yet had different responsibilities offered because he was male.

Pros

No one will lay you or fire you , you will be so frustrated that you will choose to leave by yourself

Cons

Bad work culture, slave driven, no growth , peanut salary and no incentives, one person does 2 persons work, garbage Indian company.. no perks , nothing exciting, worst appraisals, especially legal team. Even weekends are working, top management pushes you to work like slave till you become sick and quit.

Pros

Good Health insurance. Good Benefits package.

Cons

Do not believe the recruiters for this company. They lie. Here are my words of caution: 1) They do not like Americans. They work in America, but they do not like black or white Americans. They will pass over native US workers for an Indian worker every single time. 2) If your manger tells you it is a long term contract, you should not believe it. It is up to the customer and they will cut you as soon as a contract is over. The " on the bench" status really means they are just handling the paperwork to fire you. 3) If the company they are contracting with changes their plans, and they remove your position, you are really fired from HCL as well. 4) Reimbursements: If you have to spend your own money and the company tells you they will reimburse you, do not bet on it. It took me 3 months to get reimbursed 10k I spent.
