sometimes difficult to find another contract

They are unorganized and make it apparent that they only care about making money and not retaining good employees, especially if you are new to Epic and becoming a Credentialed Trainer. This was my first project, as well as several others, and most of us would not work with HCTec again. In order to become credentialed, we had to go through 6 weeks of unpaid training. Once we were CTs and were getting paid, they paid us well below the market average. They also did not offer overtime compensation for overtime work, using some loophole in the system. From the very beginning, they told us they would have continued work and projects for us after the completion of this project, but when go-live came around, they were empty-handed. We rarely received emails from anyone at the organization with updates, other than telling us they had not received the contract to another hospital. Also, they seemed unorganized and avoided questions, including waiting until 2 months into the project to ask for our immunization records and receiving PPD tests. Overall, my experience with HCTec was completely unprofessional and I would not recommend working with them to a friend or professional connection.
