Pros

The best thing about this company was that they would let me work from home during emergency situations like car trouble. This place is a great stepping stone for a first IT job, but not much more than that. If you work hard, you will be recognized publicly and receive small cash bonuses. Christmas bonus Occasionally the office would buy lunch for employees since I was at the corporate office Mid level supervisors are awesome and they will fight tooth and nail for you and even stretch some corporate policies to accommodate your needs.

Cons

Stagnancy. If you pursue a technical career and want to advance in IT this place isn't it. The company has no interest in advancing your technical skills, but want you on an endless barrage of password resets and locked accounts. The only real career advancement with the company is to do EMR work, which pigeonholes you into an extremely narrow facet of tech work. Different offices pay different wages for the same work. They pay the Hohenwald office $16 starting out but pay Brentwood employees $18 starting out for the exact same job. The company will give you a promotion then it will take 6 months for them to actually move you into the position, but when they do, you will retain the duties of your old position, so you'll be working two jobs, taking double the volume of your peers while making less. They will add multiple skill lines to you without giving any raise. You will be denied an annual performance raise if you received a promotion raise in the same year. PTO accrual is terrible, it takes two pay periods to earn almost a whole day off (I think it translates to 7.8hrs of PTO, and some people work 10hr shifts, so that's 6wks to earn a paid day off) The company will take your PTO for sick days at their discretion, with no approval from you and then deny your use of PTO for sick days when you request to for some unknown reason. Not enough staff stretched across too many skill lines. Constant high turnover. Working hard only earns more work Pizza parties instead of raises Upper management seems oblivious to how to do anything other than manage. They are constantly adding on new clients without being able to retain employees so the people that do stay are overworked, overwhelmed, and underpaid.
