Can’t go anywhere on both 15 min breaks, have to stay in the building
Mandatory OT
Misleading job posts on all job search sites
I applied for a full time regular position and a recruiter contacted me, had a phone interview, set up an interview the the manager. Interview went well. He told me sometimes they stay an hour or two and I was fine with that. Gets a call about the job offer all of a sudden they change my position to seasonal. I took it at the time cause I figured I could go and get hired after the season if I do a great job. First day the manager does not really acknowledge me but acknowledges the gentleman next to me and shakes his hand and not mine. Thought that was sexist from the start. I then learned later that the overtime is not only mandatory but they told me sometimes they had to stay until 1 or 2 in the morning when they came in at 10am and you have no choice in the manner. I learned all they do is lie to get you in the door. All the job posting they have out there are very MISLEADING. It says the hours are from 10:00am to 6:30pm with overtime AS NEEDED. It does not say mandatory overtime nor how long it is. I would not recommend working here as it will probably drain you and you will have no work life balance. They also lie to you and make you think it’s one thing when it’s a whole other thing. Another thing, on my first day I had another person there who applied for the same exact position as I had, and they were regular full time yet they changed mine to seasonal? Not cool. This is not a good place to work.
