Pros
The social aspects on the team - misery loves company, and you'll make good friends fast. Pay is reasonable to market.
Cons
HHaX purchased Sandata after Sandata pussy-footed around the fact that we were being acquired for ~1.5years, Sandata itself made several critical mistakes in the lead-up to the acquisition, namely bringing in new execs to "migrate us to cloud" full-speed ahead while ignoring all the warning signs and dire signs from the engineers that actually knew the product. Essentially what happened was the C-level brought on their friends and former colleagues from prior companies, daisy-chaining and leap-frogging them from one company to the next. They came in, created a false need to be "on the cloud 100%, asap" to put lipstick on the pig and make the company more attractive to sell. However, in the acquisition all the Sandata execs got their golden comp packages and sailed off into the sunset, and now HHAX is trying to whitewash the sins of the former by covering everything under the veneer of fresh, and new marketing. Here's the thing though - there are very real people, clients, users, and members who receive care facilitated by these applications, especially the I/DD population and unfortunately who will be the ones who suffer, who won't get their payments due to billing/claim issues, due to offshoring the technical/development support, due to killing Sandata's "Remote-First" culture and forcing onsite once again. The only reason why I kept at this job as long as I did was due to my immediate team, they were a great great and talented team. Very very talented and some of the smartest people I've ever met, and as a result they were largely purged in the lead-up to the Sandata acquisition.
