Pros

- Strong Culture - Ability to get promoted/advance quickly - Good improvements to comp/benefits/vacation

Cons

- Growing pains: Fast growth can sometimes be sudden, so certain departments may grow quickly, others may not and have to play catch-up which can be stressful

Pros

The only thing decent about this company was the pay. But with the amount was stress and work that come with it you can understand why.

Cons

Terrible management, no training for new managers. No communication between GM and lower employees. I have never had a bad work experience until I worked here.

Pros

Direct Deposit, travel discounts withave the brand

Cons

Well there are so many Cons. The senior management team in their corporate offices don't seem to realize what is happening at the property level. The GMs...and many AGMs just want to crack the whip and don't lead by example. The company is a revolving door. No training except for the brand training and new hire orientation. Orientation was ok, the HR person was really nice but they only had 1 HR person in NYC, and we couldn't really use her because she only supported that property. 19 hotels and no HR. I later found out she left this horrible company too. Managers yell at people, the pay sucks, the benefits are horrible. No one cares, the staff is demotivated. In this day and age how can a company not care about their employees? No one grows. I was told most employees who want to grow, should work at the HGI on 54th Street, but everyone leaves that hotel. No work life balance unless you are buddy buddy with the senior leaders. Stay far away from this company, it's just bad. Not worth it. I left a job got this maddness.
