Pros

One person at HII was very professional, responsive, ethical, and alert.

Cons

I started my employment with HII Mission Technologies and the position lasted 5 days after my start date. HII lied about me never starting and rescinded my second, revised HII offer letter that I signed 5 days prior to start date (first offer signed 35 days prior). A company that rescinds a signed offer letter after the employee begins working and after the official starting date passes is illegal. Conveniently, HII wrote lies and exaggerated claims via email about me (the blame game with false accusations, lies), when I was the one doing everything properly (not HII) since 35 days prior when I began HII’s deliberately abusive, lengthy onboarding process along with after the start date passed. As a side note, if you live in a nice part of California and you are not their political party, your onboarding process will be severely abusive and amplified 10x easily, compared to typical hires. It was staged by HII to use me through personal property, time and money (personal laptop, personal vehicle using gasoline multiple times, personal telephone via inbound/outbound calls, texts, voicemail). HII pressed me to use my personal property (and assumed I would use it) to attend HII onboarding conference calls when the HII laptop never arrived on time, and I was questioned when I refused. My personal email address and personal phone log now looks like a busy business email and business telephone with numerous text messages, voicemails, phone calls, email communications from many HII employees and logins to websites, appointments, etc, which is literally “company work” to arrange onboarding paperwork. HII had 35 days to ship the laptop to my location, and it was intentionally done to arrive late. HII bragged over the phone about a shipping error they caused (i.e., sending a FedEx package to my PO Box), based on HII’s stupidly, lack of movement (laziness), and non caring attitude. The following day over a phone, HII sounded scared and shaken up as if they were screamed at. HII’s offer wasn’t serious from the beginning and it felt shady by HII from the start. HII employees never want to show themselves on camera, which is suspicious. HII has a lot to hide to levels where employees keep cameras turned off. The offer letter was the easiest to obtain because nobody wants to work there and HII has employee retention issues. HII continued pushing me to use my personal property, which shows they don’t behave correctly. The company is corrupt and will use and abuse new remote hires, by having them spend their money, time and use your personal property. HII has no problem conducting illegal actions on the new employee, so it doesn’t appear that the employee started “company work” and they won’t have to pay you. Due to the “HII company work” I conducted starting 35 days and onward, HII accepted a one weeks payment as a sign on bonus wich is proof I was conducting early “company work”. HII uses left wing tactics to financially abuse new hires into believing their offer letter is real in a lengthy process, deliberately pressures the new hire via text message, emails, voicemails to use personal property to conduct “HII company work”, lies via email/voicemails/phone calls/ texts to the new hire, and illegally rescinds the signed offer letter after the start date passes and the employee officially begins. HII deliberately makes the onboarding process a disaster, and they love every minute of it. Highly damaging, destructive, classic left wing tactics and behaviors were used by HII. Stay away from this left leaning company.

Pros

There is none at all I guarantee you ..

Cons

There is none … you’ll be 70 years old still on your tools no room for promotion they don’t care about work ..only attendance so you can be the worst worker in the world and never do anything but as long as you come in it’s fine … foreman’s and bosses were victims of being bullied so they have a lil bit of power and abuse it and hr does nothing about it . They honestly don’t care about your health, mental or physical, and you can never call the hr building or anyplace that’s connected to ingalls because they never answer the phone so you have to leave work early just to go. They will hire over 3,000 people to fulfill a contract with the navy and once contract is signed they start making crazy rules and harassing people to get rid of at least 3,000 so management get more bonuses and pay raises while workers get treated like trash ..there are women who abuse their gender and foreman’s are dating employees and giving those same employees special treatment
