      Pros

      Decent pay, lots of benefits and schooling options. As well as discounts In town.

      Cons

      Not enough PTO. Pay scale could be higher. I have 10 years experience, 6 of which as a qualified pipe welder. Would only start me at $26.15 hr.

      After my previous company was acquired by HII, all work was grouped into divisions/locations. After self managing workload, tasks were divided up.

      Good people, not real exciting work

      Pros

      It's an established company with pretty good benefits. Flexible work from home options (not for all roles). Most people you meet are nice and willing to help.

      Cons

      The work is not real exciting. They use antiquated technology and tools, which leads you to wonder if you are gaining transferable skills if you were to move to another company. No real upward mobility as a developer unless you've been there for many years.
