      Pros

      Everyone knows everybody, and it has a small-town feel; good pay for cheap area

      Cons

      There are not any similar companies near Ingalls in Pascagoula, so employees do not have high standards for how they should be treated and paid

      Pros

      Solid company, job security, and the employees generally want to do well and take incredible pride in the ships we build.

      Cons

      The influx of new employees that feel entitled to mid level and senior level positions just because they finished a key project. It takes years to earn those positions. Stay in your lane, keep your head down, and good things will come. Parking is difficult but young employees and the new leadership do not quite understand the right of passage it is to EARN a parking spot. Taking that away is nearly equivalent to taking away our 5th week of vacation years ago.

      You get paid . The benefits are descent.

      Cons

      It's a large company and your opinions don't really matter. If you're a woman, it is not a friendly environment. Be prepared to get catcalled and have to deal with harassment on a regular basis. Parking sucks, even on an an offset schedule.
