      Pros

      the company compensation package is a win deal for all who put the time to do the best job one can do

      Cons

      there really is not a huge one, of course though the bus transportation is great but there should be alternating buses so the employee never has to wait to get to the ship on Time.

      Pros

      Great Benefits and growth opportunities, the company is well structured however, there are some positions and job descriptions that HII would not miss a beat if they did not exist. An example is. over 160 Manager 1and up in the engineering chart just in Pascagoula and New Orleans alone. The change document review board going over changes that other people all ready spent dozens of man hours etc.

      Cons

      None, as a company, HII is a great place to work. However, the decision making errors made from time to time by upper management could be consider a "con" For instance, I think that closing Avondale was a terrible decision from the on budget, schedule, quality and safety stand point of view. Closing Avondale maybe the wrong strategic move HII made. Hopefully they obtain the results expected from this decision.
