      Pros

      Large company with many good internal transfer opportunities for career growth, educational assistance program, performance awards/bonuses for top performers at various levels.

      Cons

      Commute and limited parking unless willing to pay for monthly parking spot, poor work-life balance for some, outdated facilities and limited benefits.

      126 years of shipbuilding with folks there 30,40, maybe 50 years that can't see a reason to change

      Pros

      High pay for Intern. Was making approximately $15 an hour, working about 45 hours a week. Required to do absolutely nothing while at work.

      Cons

      There was absolutely no work for me. About 4 days a week I would sit at my desk and ask my supervisor for work when she would not have any I would sit and read a book. On days I did have work, I would then be handed a stack of folders to put in alphabetical order. This was the peak of my week when working.
