      Pros

      Salary use to be great. I would say great working hours but we no longer work four tens. You get paid weekly and on Thursday

      Cons

      The place is unprofessional They don't really care about the individual. Engineers are treated equal to designers. No respect.

      I really enjoyed the job I was doing at the Avondale Shipyard for Huntington Ingalls.

      Pros

      If you work at the Pascagoula yard, you will receive a larger salary then working at the Avondale Shipyard, suppose to be one company with the same work titles however, two salary scales.

      Cons

      Management did not train the personnel at the Avondale Shipyard very well on the new computer soft wear to be used. It was like they wanted the Avondale Shipyard to fail. However, the personnel at the Avondale pretty much taught themselves how to use the new computer systems and were more knowledgeable then the Ingalls personnel. Poor teaching skills, Poor Communication Skills etc.

      great pay, benefits, and work enviroment.The bosses treat you with the up most respect. Its a goood feeling building ship that protect our country

      Cons

      To work at Ingalls you have ro put up with different types of climate. In the summer its burning hot inside the ships and in the winter its freezing cold.
