      Pros

      Treated as an independent adult. Work life balance is relatively stable. For my position with low travel, work was rarely above 40hr/week.

      Cons

      Somewhat superficial engineering experience, where much of what's learned is learned on your own accord. Alright for new grads already comfortable with self-study. Poor diversity and attitude towards diversity.

      Pros

      The money and people are good.

      Cons

      The management on the sub programs sucks, the construction supervisors and navy officers are always breathing down your necks. The work envirment suck, some day its super slow, but they still expect you to keep working "stay busy". Work-life balance sucks, you can only get 10 hours of pto every 4 month, if you don't miss any time, only 8 hour if you don't miss more than 6. Parking sucks too, some people sleep in their cars just to get "good" parking. Also the company doesn't care about the workers, you are replacable.
