      Hi and thank you for your feedback! I'm bummed to see you didn't find a good thing to say about HP, even if you spent more than 3 years with us. To your point about technology and looking to the future, I just want to mention that we continue to have consistent priorities, we continue to lead even in soft markets as we have maintained our #1 or #2 position in 48 of the top 50 countries, and we introduced new products that have already won awards and have been acclaimed by global press and analysts.       Good company falling on hard times

      Pros

      Compensation and benefits are average based on industry. Company car for field based personnel

      Cons

      Micro management, daily forecast calls, management doesn't really seem to care about the employees. Management by spreadsheet. Getting worse since the split. There was a book called the HP Way. Now it's been changed to "the HP Way Now". That about sums it up.

      Not what it used to be

      Pros

      Good people who actually care. Good vacation policies. Flexible work so you can work from home when needed.

      Cons

      Short-sighted management more interested in quarterly profits than long-term success. Seem to think that experienced people can be replaced with college new hires without a quality drop off.

To your point about allowing employees to use their creativity and explore business ideas, we do have several avenues for employees to do that. There are internal initiatives and platforms where employees can participate propose solutions to business challenges, pitch product ideas, and vote the best ones.
